GALLERY 143: ROSEATE SPOONBILL
The Roseate Spoonbill gets is name from its highly sensitive spatulated beak which is used in a constant back and forth sifting motion while feeding in the shallows.
Roseate Spoonbills can be photographed in Florida, but are not as approachable as some of the other waders.
