GALLERY 207: BROAD WINGED HAWK
I am no expert on Hawk identification but I think I have the ID correct. The identification was made as much by appearance as sound. This Hawk has a piercing one note cry which is what alerted me there was a nest nearby. By the time I had stumbled upon this nest, the young were very close to fledging and I only had about a week to record their development.
