GALLERY 3: PELICANS
The American White Pelican is a magnificant bird and can be seen flying over the Twin Cities during the spring migration. Some birds stop for the summer on the lakes in western Minnesota while others press on to the Dakotas. Breeding colonies of American White Pelicans are within 60 miles of downtown Minneapolis.
