GALLERY 51: MALLARDS
The Mallard duck is the most common duck in Minnesota. They are remarkable creatures, some even staying over winter here with very little available open water. Many of the ducks live in city parks and become habituated to the presence of humans. This provides an opportunity for close up photography.
